The doctoral candidate will work in Dr. Johannes Hertrich’s Emmy Noether junior research group as part of the project “Flow-based Generative Models and Optimal Transport for Sampling and Inverse Problems” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project focuses on generative models, optimal transport and inverse problems, as well as the efficient implementation and application of these methods in image processing.
The Emmy Noether junior research group “Flow-based Generative Models and Optimal Transport for Sampling and Inverse Problems” focuses on the mathematical foundations of machine learning, in particular generative models and reconstruction algorithms for inverse problems. In doing so, we work on both the theoretical foundations and their implementation and application.
