At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Institut für Numerische und Angewandte Mathematik, there is a position as

Doctoral candidate (all genders welcome)
Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L/75%

to be filled. Starting date is 10/1/2024. The position is limited to 3 years.

Your tasks
- Participation in the courses according to § 31 NHG and in the performance examinations
- Collaboration in one of the main research areas of the Institute of Numerical and Applied Mathematics

Your profile
- Notably qualified diploma or master's degree in mathematics or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge and interest in optimisation and math. analysis        
- Basic knowledge in the field of algorithms and imaging
- Relevant language skills in German (teaching) and English (international communication)
- In addition, experience in teaching, scientific publications and numerical software development is desirablere development

The position is intended to qualify young scientists and offers the possibility of a doctorate.
